About

Hi, I'm Sahan Bakmiwewa from the beautiful island of Sri Lanka! From a young age, I've always been a rebel and questioned everything. This curiosity led me to venture into entrepreneurship at 19 with $1,000 borrowed from my mom back in 2014. Fast forward to now, I'm the CEO of a group of companies operating in various sectors, employing over 100 people directly!

Before starting my businesses, my primary focus was on finishing my education quickly. I skipped the traditional route, finished my Ordinary Levels (O/Ls), and jumped straight into a Bachelor's in Information Systems with Business Management. Alongside, I pursued a professional qualification at the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and completed it at 18, becoming the 6th youngest globally to complete all the CIMA exams. Next, I started studying at the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) during my internship year at Unilever, but soon realized that the corporate world wasn't for me. I joined a startup, fell in love with the culture, and got inspired to start my own business in my final year of university (at 19).

I completed my Bachelor's at 20, CIM at 21, earned a Master's in Logistics & Supply Chain Management with a distinction at 23, and finally, a Diploma in Capital Markets by CISI at 24 [All these give me 9 designatory letters behind my name -  ACSI (UK), Dip CapM, MSc., MILT (UK), PgDip M, ACIM (UK), CGMA, ACMA (UK), BSc. (Hons).].

Although I've excelled academically and been able to establish a few growing businesses, I realized I lacked balance in other aspects of life, which created a void. This realization led me to embark on a journey to find maximum balance in every area of life without sacrificing any aspect. My contrarian thinking is that we can push boundaries to live a fuller, more extreme life full of joy and contentment. After all, both a penny and 10x on each side of a scale will balance, so why not opt for 10x every time? Join me as I explore this quest for maximum balance!
